President & CEO
Brent Welcher, current President and CEO, started SEVA Technical Services after separating from the United States Army. With 10 years of service in the U.S. Army and U.S. Public Health Service, Brent had a keen sense of the product needs of the federal government and strove to build a company that could not only fulfill those needs but do so in a cost effective and timely manner, with exceptional customer service.
As a service disable veteran with a background in Army and Public Health Services, Brent has a B.S. from Longwood University in Biological Sciences and a Master’s in Biotechnology from John’s Hopkins University. SEVA was started in 2005 as a safety consulting firm, but in 2007, Brent incorporated SEVA and began the process of turning the company into a product oriented firm selling only to the United States Government.
Today, Brent has managed to procure several government contracts for SEVA. SEVA currently sells on GSA and FedMall under Schedule 84 and Schedule 51V. Additionally, SEVA holds both the Hardware and the Law Enforcement contracts with Milstrip. Brent continues to be dedicated to ensuring the best service to all of our customers.
A former Army Aviator, Chuck Welcher is Vice-President and co-founder of SEVA Technical Services. Following his active duty tour with the Army, Chuck worked in several key government positions culminating in Director of Army Transportation Safety at the US Army Transportation Center. After retiring in 2005, Chuck began consulting with government and industry in Virginia on matters pertaining to OSHA compliance.
In 2007 Chuck and Brent formed SEVA Technical Services with Brent at the helm. Chuck used his safety knowledge to ensure that the products provided by SEVA met the needs of government customers. In addition to his military and government experience, Chuck holds a Bachelor’s in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master’s in Safety Management from Indiana University. Chuck continues to help grow SEVA and is dedicated to providing the best quality of products and service to each customer.
